Infrastructure

OpsBeacon runs on AWS. All components are hosted in AWS us-east-1 with the following controls:
  • All data encrypted at rest (AES-256)
  • All data encrypted in transit (TLS 1.2+)
  • No long-lived credentials stored — AWS access uses short-lived STS tokens via cross-account role assumption
  • Slack tokens stored encrypted at rest

Access controls

  • OpsBeacon engineering staff access to production systems is logged and requires multi-factor authentication
  • Customer data is not accessible by OpsBeacon staff except for support requests with customer consent
  • No OpsBeacon employee can view your AWS cost data or security findings without an explicit support escalation

Vulnerability management

OpsBeacon conducts regular security reviews and dependency audits. Critical vulnerabilities in dependencies are patched within 72 hours.

Incident response

In the event of a security incident affecting customer data, OpsBeacon will notify affected customers within 72 hours of discovery, consistent with applicable regulations.
