What it shows

For each security gap, OpsBeacon estimates:

Remediation cost — engineering time × loaded hourly rate
Effort level — Low (< 1 hour), Medium (1–4 hours), High (> 4 hours)
Monthly savings — the exposure cost that goes away once the finding is resolved
Payback period — how quickly the remediation pays for itself

Prioritization formula

Beacon sorts findings by: monthly exposure ÷ remediation cost. The higher the ratio, the better the return on fixing it first. A $300/month exposure that costs $50 to fix is a 6x return in month one. A $50/month exposure that costs $500 to fix takes 10 months to break even.
