# Investigating a Finding

> How to dig into a specific finding and understand it fully before acting.

## Start with the review command

```
@Beacon review finding-01
```

This returns the full finding detail: what it is, what resource is affected, the financial exposure, the recommended fix, and estimated effort.

## Ask follow-up questions

After reviewing, you can ask Beacon for more context:

```
@Beacon why is finding-01 a security risk?
@Beacon what's the worst case if we don't fix finding-01?
@Beacon how hard is it to fix finding-01?
@Beacon is finding-01 related to finding-03?
```

## Check the history

```
@Beacon when was finding-01 first detected?
@Beacon has this finding appeared before?
```

## Compare findings

```
@Beacon which finding should I fix first — 01 or 02?
