# Scheduled Reports & Digests

> Configure Beacon to post reports to Slack automatically on a schedule.

## Setting up a scheduled report

```
@Beacon post the cost summary here every Monday at 9am
@Beacon send me the security economics report every Friday
@Beacon post the monthly cloud economics report on the 1st
```

## Available schedules

* Daily (specify a time: "every day at 8am")
* Weekly (specify a day and time: "every Monday at 9am")
* Monthly (specify a day: "on the 1st of every month")

## Managing scheduled reports

```
@Beacon what reports are scheduled?
@Beacon cancel the weekly cost summary
@Beacon change the cost summary to post on Tuesdays instead
```

## Report digests

A digest combines multiple reports into one message — useful for a weekly all-hands channel or a Monday morning FinOps standup:

@Beacon post a weekly digest every Monday: cost summary, security score, and AI spend
```
