# Forecasting & Budgets

> Know what your AWS bill will look like before it arrives.

## Cost forecasting

Beacon uses your current month's spend trajectory to project your end-of-month total. It factors in historical patterns and any anomalies already detected.

## Budget tracking

If you have budgets configured in AWS Budgets, Beacon can track progress against them and alert you when you're approaching a threshold.
