# Action Statuses & Ownership

> Track the lifecycle of every finding from discovery to verified resolution.

## Status lifecycle

| Status | Meaning |
| - | - |
| **Open** | Detected, not yet assigned |
| **Assigned** | Owned by a team member, fix in progress |
| **Resolved** | Fix applied, pending verification |
| **Verified** | Fix confirmed — finding no longer appears in scans |
| **Acknowledged** | Risk accepted, finding will not be actioned |
| **Deferred** | Fix planned for a future date |
