# Reviewing and Assigning Findings

> How to review a finding in detail and assign it to a team member.

## Reviewing a finding

Beacon returns a detailed breakdown:

* Plain-language explanation of the issue
* The specific AWS resource or configuration involved
* The financial exposure (cost per month if unresolved)
* The recommended fix with step-by-step guidance
* Estimated effort and fix cost

## Assigning a finding

```
@Beacon assign finding-01 to @alice
@Beacon assign finding-02 to @bob with a note: "check with security team first"
```

The assignee receives a Slack notification with the finding details and their action item.

## Bulk assignment

```
@Beacon assign all low-effort security findings to @alice
@Beacon assign findings 01, 02, and 03 to @bob
```
